Overview
Basalt is the fine-dining template: a stone-and-ember storefront on a Cormorant / Outfit type system, anchored by a seven-course tasting-menu journey that scrubs an ember line down the page as you scroll.
It pairs the tasting narrative with a three-step reservation wizard, à la carte takeaway over WhatsApp, and an owner dashboard that includes a live 86 list.
The challenge
Translating the ceremony of a tasting menu into a web experience while still handling the unglamorous jobs — bookings, takeaway orders, and sold-out items.
